Overview

Rapper, producer, designer, and songwriter Cro will come to Berlin for a concert live at Verti Music Hall on May 8 and 9 2022.

Cro's music career began in 2006 when he released his first mixtapes under the pseudonym Lyr1c. In 2011, the rapper was signed to the label Chimperator as Cro. In the same year, he performed as the opening act for the Norwegian band Madcon. In November 2011, he released his first single "Easy" from the upcoming album "Raop", which was released in 2012. In Germany, the song reached #2 on the singles charts.

With his previously released albums "Raop", "Melodie" and "tru." he broke some records. In total, he sold over 4.1 million records and won numerous awards, such as the Bambi, the ECHO or the 1LIVE Krone. In 2015, he became the youngest artist to record an MTV Unplugged album. The club tour for his last album "tru." was sold out within 48 hours.

Now he is going on a major tour through Germany, Austria, and Switzerland with his current album "trip" and is making a stop at the Verti Music Hall with his "trip is (a) live 2022"-tour.

Verti Music Hall - that is the name of the new event hall at Mercedes Platz in Berlin, which offers space for up to 4,500 visitors at concerts, shows, and corporate events from autumn 2018.

Verti Music Hall sets new standards for event venues of comparable size with regards to customer experience and production.

The interior of the venue is intimate with high-end in appearance, while the outer concourses have a more urban, industrial style. The Verti Music Hall is a valuable addition to Berlin's venue landscape, for fans as well as for promoters and performing artists.

Despite its intimate atmosphere, the Verti Music Hall is well equipped to host productions of varying technical requirements. Due to its design, the calculated rigging capacity will exceed 200 tons, which is more than most arenas can currently provide.
