On May 7, 2022 Tucson Music Hall was renamed after a beloved daughter of Tucson, Linda Ronstadt. The Linda Ronstadt Music Hall is home to Tucson Symphony Orchestra, Arizona Opera and is a fabulous venue for concerts and other entertainment.
The Linda Ronstadt Music Hall has a rich history of amazing events hosted by world renowned promoters. In 2003 Nederland Organization awarded the contract to facility management to present a series of Broadway Musicals and special events. Broadway in Tucson’s debut season opened in September 2004 with Arizona’s premier of Movin’ Out. The most recent list of comedians to take stage at the Music Hall include Chelsea Handler, Jerry Seinfeld, Kevin Hart, Jo Koy and Ali Wong. Grammy Award winning artists who have stopped to perform in the Music Hall include Yo-Yo Ma, Bonnie Raitt, Bob Dylan, James Taylor, Harry Connic Jr., Rob Thomas, and of course Linda Ronstadt.
August 2019, Rio Nuevo Board voted unanimously to spend $7.3M on facility upgrades at The Linda Ronstadt Music Hall which included restrooms and lobby renovations new production sound equipment, new seats and a new outdoor event patio area.
