The conductor RAMÓN TEBAR was born in Valencia. It was here that he studied conducting and piano and, at a young age, conducted the National Youth Orchestra of Spain.
Today, he is the Musical Director of the Florida Grand Opera, Musical Director of the Festival Musical de Santo Domingo and Artistic Director of Florida’s Palm Beach Symphony. The conductor has performed in such locations as the Teatro Regio di Torino, the Cologne Philharmonic, Amsterdam Concertgebouw, Theatro Municipal de São Paulo, Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires. He has also conducted Spoleto Festival Orchestra, St. Petersburg Symphony, Moscow Symphony along with numerous other international orchestras. Recent performances include appearances at the Palau de les Arts in Valencia in Spain (Nabucco, Aida), Cincinnati Opera (Turandot), Ópera de Las Palmas (Simon Boccanegra), Opera Santa Barbara (Falstaff), Palacio de la Ópera, La Coruña (Lucia di Lammermoor, La traviata), Florida Grand Opera (Madama Butterfly, Così fan tutte) as well as in Naples (Don Pasquale, La traviata).
