Poliorama Theatre
The Poliorama Theater opened in 1899. First as a cinema and then as a theater, throughout its 110-year history, works by Josep Maria de Sagarra, Xavier Benguerel, Àngel Guimerà and Santiago Rusiñol have passed through, and even state headquarters of the Teatre Nacional de Catalunya. The theater is also famous for the shooting of POUM and CNT members during the Civil War, which George Orwell described in Homage to Catalonia.
Since 1996, the Teatre Poliorama has been managed by TRES PER 3, the union of the members of Dagoll Dagom, Tricicle and Anexa, to which T de Teatre and La Brutal have recently joined. In his last days, he has had famous hits such as El Mètode Grönholm, El Florido Pensil, El Llibertí, Garrick from El Tricicle and Polònia, the musical.
