Feng Ning (born 1981, Chengdu) is a Chinese violinist.

Ning Feng is a Chinese violinist renowned for his exceptional lyricism, innate musicality, and remarkable virtuosity. Born in Chengdu, China, in 1982, he began studying the violin at the age of four under the guidance of Hu Weimin at the Sichuan Conservatory of Music. He later pursued advanced studies at the Royal Academy of Music in London with Hu Kun and at the Hanns Eisler School of Music in Berlin under Antje Weithaas. Notably, he was the first student at the Royal Academy to receive a perfect score for his final recital. Throughout his career, Ning Feng has garnered numerous accolades, including first prizes at the 2005 Michael Hill International Violin Competition in New Zealand and the 2006 International Paganini Competition. He has also been a laureate in prestigious competitions such as the Queen Elisabeth and Yehudi Menuhin International Violin Competitions. As a soloist, Ning Feng has performed with esteemed orchestras worldwide, including the New York Philharmonic, Los Angeles Philharmonic, Frankfurt Radio Symphony, Royal Philharmonic, and the China Philharmonic. He has collaborated with distinguished conductors such as Iván Fischer, Jaap van Zweden, and Yu Long. In 2012, he founded the Dragon Quartet, further showcasing his commitment to chamber music. His discography with Channel Classics Records features critically acclaimed recordings, including Bach's complete solo works for violin, concertos by Elgar and Tchaikovsky, and the 24 Paganini Caprices. Gramophone magazine praised his Bach interpretations, noting, "It's the illusion of a freewheeling conversation projected from within." Ning Feng performs on a 1710 Stradivari violin known as the "Vieuxtemps Hauser," generously loaned by Premiere Performances of Hong Kong. He also serves as a violin professor at the Hanns Eisler School of Music in Berlin and holds the position of International Chair of Violin at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. Additionally, he is the Artistic Director of the Chamber Music Academy at the Zhejiang Conservatory of Music and Vice-Dean of the Violin Institute at the Sichuan Conservatory of Music. Ning Feng's artistry continues to captivate audiences globally, solidifying his status as one of the leading violinists of his generation.
