About
Nahuel Di Pierro was born in Buenos Aires. He comes from the Artistic Institute of the Teatro Colón where he began singing roles such as Masetto (Don Giovanni), Haly (L'italiana in Algeri), Figaro (Le Nozze di Figaro), Colline (La Bohème), Guglielmo (Cosí fan Tutte)... during the inaugural season of the Opera of Valencia in Spain, he participates in the productions of Fidelio, Don Giovanni and Cyrano de Bergerac.
He continued his training in the Atelier Lyrique of the Paris national Opera and the Young Singer Program of the Salzburg Festival.
In recent seasons, he has appeared at the Paris Opera House (Salomé, La Sonnambula, Idomeneo, Don Carlo, Don Giovanni, L'italiana in Algeri, I Capuleti e i Montecchi, L'incoronazione di Poppea, La Bohème), the Covent Garden in London (Colline, Masetto), Salzburg (Achior in Mozart's Betulia Liberata, directed by Riccardo Muti), the Deutsche Oper in Berlin (Basilio in The Barber of Seville)., in Amsterdam (Leander in the love of three oranges), in Dessau (Sarastro in Die Zauberflöte), in Luxembourg (Selim in Turkish in Italy), in Santiago de Chile (Sarastro and Colline), in Buenos Aires (Don Giovanni), in Baden-Baden and Geneva (Lorenzo in I Capuleti e i Montecchi), in the Capitol of Toulouse (Colline, Basilio, Angelotti in Tosca and Ferrando in Il Trovatore), in Bordeaux (Haly, Basilio, Colline, Ismenor/Teucer in Dardanus De Rameau), in the Opera of Angers-Nantes (Selim), in the Théâtre des Champs Elysées (La Voce in Idomeneo, Masetto) and in the festivals of Glyndebourne (Hill) and Bad-Wildbad (Walter/Melchthal in Guillaume Tell).
At the concert, he participated in several series with the Orchestre national de France (Kurt Masur, James Conlon, Daniele Gatti), the Orchestra Giovanile Luigi Cherubini (Riccardo Muti), the Orchestre de Paris (Louis Langrée, Jérémie Rhorer), the Ensemble Matheus (Jean-Christophe Spinosi), the Cercle de l'harmonie (Jérémie Rhorer), the Concert d'astrée (Emmanuelle Haim), the Orchestre Révoluelle et Romantique (John Eliott Gardiner), The Hallé Orchestra de Manchester (Mark Elder)... in works such as the messiah of Handel, the Missa Defunctorum of Paisiello, The Passion According to Saint John of Bach, Dvorak's Stabat Mater, Coronation Mass / Ut mass / confessor's Vespers / Mozart's Requiem, Berlioz's childhood of Christ, as well as various programs from Monteverdi to Verdi. He has performed in recital in Paris (Salle Cortot) and in Toulouse (Capitole).
This season, he makes his debut at the Opernhaus in Zurich (Lord Sidney in Il Viaggio a Reims, the Cold Genius in King Arthur), he participates in a series of concerts alongside Patricia Petibon under the direction of Emmanuelle Haïm, he sings Mozart's Requiem at the Philharmonie de Paris with the orchestra of Paris before his debut at the Festival of Aix-en-Provence in the summer of 2016 (Guglielmo in Cosí fan tutte).
