Located at the confluence of the St. Maurice River and the St. Lawrence River, the Cogeco Amphitheatre in Trois-Rivieres is an exceptional cultural venue dedicated to the presentation of exceptional acoustics performances surrounded by an enchanting decor.
With a capacity of 3,500 people in the seating section and 5,500 people in the grass esplanade, it includes state-of-the-art outdoor stage facilities that can accommodate the largest local, national and international productions from june to september, including an exclusive Cirque du Soleil show. The rest of the year, the stage of the amphitheatre becomes a cabaret-style indoor venue that can accomodate up to 600 people.
Its sophisticated outdoor stage equipment can meet the needs of even the largest local, national and international productions. The amphitheatre is located on one of the most prominent sites in the regional capital at the confluence of the St. Lawrence River and St. Maurice River and is an engine of economic and touristic development for the entire area.
The Cogeco Amphitheatre presents a variety of outdoor shows between June and September. Cirque du Soleil has also signed a 10-year agreement with the Cogeco Amphitheatre to present an exclusive show each summer from 2015 to 2024.
During the rest of the year, the Cogeco Amphitheatre becomes a Cabaret-style indoor venue, located directly on the main stage of the amphitheatre.
