Explore two most Austria’s cultural heritage sites - Museum of Fine Arts and Imperial Treasury with this indefinitely valid entry ticket.
Discover masterpieces by artists from Bruegel to Rembrandt of Vienna's renowned Kunsthistorisches Museum and get to know the lives and stories of emperors through their crowns, swords, clothes and other treasures at the Imperial Treasury of Vienna.
Vienna’s world-famous Kunsthistorisches Museum is an architectural marvel and is a must-see for any art lover visiting Vienna. The museum developed from the art collections of the House of Habsburg and hosts a unique collection of some of the world’s most famous painters from Raphael and Rembrandt to Vermeer and Rubens and, of course, Peter Breughel the Elder.
From Peter Breughel’s “Tower of Babel” to Vermeer’s “The Art of Painting” you will become acquainted with the old masters at the museum’s Picture Gallery. You will also see some of the Museum’s rarest and oddest items at the Kunstkammer exhibit, like the golden “Saliera” by Celini and the “Madonna of Krumau”.
The Imperial Treasury, located within at the historic confines of the Hofburg Palace, boasts a collection of royal artifacts that include the imperial crowns, orbs, sceptres, and an extensive array of insignia narrating the saga of the Habsburg dynasty. Here, centuries of European history come to life through captivating exhibits that highlight the artistic and cultural achievements of an era defined by empires and monarchies. Get a journey through the rich history of the Habsburgs and the lives of the Holy Roman Emperors, illuminated by the precious treasures housed within the museum.
