Within walking distance of Plaza de España and right by Madrid Río Park, Escenario Puerta del Ángel is a large open-air venue boasting 17,055 m2 of outdoor space and marquees to host shows, concerts and business events in an unparalleled setting.
The venue is located in the lungs of the city, the Casa de Campo Trade Fair Park, and is managed by Madrid Destino. It overlooks Cornisa Park and has stunning views of some of the city’s most emblematic buildings, including the Royal Palace, La Almudena Cathedral, Edificio España, and the Torre de Madrid.
This paved esplanade can be easily reached by public transport and on foot from the Madrid Río Park. It has transport links to other districts in the city via the EMT local bus network and the Lago and Puerta del Ángel metro stations, and there are ample parking spaces close by.
The Escenario Puerta del Ángel is the city’s main Cirque du Soleil venue and where the Canadian company has brought many an acclaimed show to Madrid, including Alegría, Varekai, Corteo, Amaluna, Totem and Kooza. The grounds have also hosted the exhibition Saurs, the production The Hole, the saga Circo de los Horrores, Circo de Hielo and Circo Acuático, plus the international initiatives Wings for Life and Solar Decathlon Europe.
