Lotto Arena

The Lotto Arena opened its doors on March 10, 2007 and is the result of a Public-Private Partnership between the city of Antwerp and the management of the Sportpaleis.

Since the opening of the Lotto Arena in 2007, one can speak of a real Antwerp event site. The Lotto Arena is a smaller hall next to the Sportpaleis and is connected to both the Sportpaleis and the Hospitality Center. The hall is used for sports competitions (maximum 5,218 spectators) and more intimate stage events (maximum 8,050 spectators, with standing center square). During sports activities, a mobile sports floor is slid over the concrete floor. To. basketball club Antwerp Giants moved to the Lotto Arena.

As the only semi-large hall in Belgium, the Lotto Arena quickly became a permanent fixture on the events calendar. Top sports competitions, concerts and shows alternate here and attract more than 350,000 visitors annually. Among the big ones, Pollstar quickly placed this smaller arena in the top 100 of the world's most visited arenas.
