Tomasz Kajdanski is a Polish dancer and choreographer.
Following his education at the State Ballet School, Tomasz Kajdanski began his career as a dancer as a soloist at the Warsaw National Theatre. From there he moved to Heidelberg to Johann Kresnik and to the Bavarian State Ballet, where he quickly developed into a formative protagonist in pieces by John Neumeier, John Cranko, Youri Vámos, Jiří Kylián, Hans van Manen and others, created numerous roles and began to choreograph. After that he was ballet director in Rostock, Coburg, Kiel and Eisenach. Since 2009 he has been Ballet director and chief choreographer at the Anhaltische Theater Dessau. For his choreography "Tchaikovsky" he was nominated in 2006 for the first German theatre prize of Faust as one of the three best choreographers in Germany. For his production "Kristallpalast" he was awarded the theater prize of the Federation.
