Boca da Valeria is an Amazon River cruise port and small village in Brazil's Amazonas state. At the docking pier, cruise ship passengers are usually greeted by small kids who are well-trained to entertain tourists. The village at the pier is fake, but for a small price, locals offer boat trips to their actual settlement.
This stop along the Amazon cruise itinerary is made for wildlife viewing (crocodiles, toucans/tropical birds), meeting indigenous people (dressed in traditional feather costumes) and "dollar photo" sessions with them.
