Overview

They are a music phenomenon, a bank in the charts and a wonderful example of what family can be in addition to pure blood relations: Inspiration, motor, mission, vocation, passion, diversity of opinion and still a close-knit community. In 2017, The Kelly Family returned after more than ten years with their "Comeback of the Year". They released two No.1 albums ("We Got Love" and 2019 "25 Years Later") and were euphorically celebrated on sold-out tours and open-air shows in Europe. After the live tour finale in Munich in February 2020, it was over for the time being and the family members devoted themselves to their individual solo projects or simply spent some time with their families.

2022 will be another big year for the Kelly Family year and preparations have already begun.

The time before Christmas was always a very intense one for the Kelly Family, because until a few years ago, very unusual Christmas concerts were part of their live activities. The family is now releasing a Christmas EP entitled ONE MORE HAPPY CHRISTMAS, which not only has two brand new songs in its luggage, but also announces a wonderful new Christmas album for 2022.

"The Kelly Family - The Mega Christmas Show" will be the Christmas party of 2022 and another highlight in the live history of the band, which has been coming together again and again in different line-ups for decades. Kathy, Patricia, Jimmy, John, Joey and Paul will play many of the band's biggest hits as well as world-famous Christmas songs. A huge Christmas party with a fantastic atmosphere, but also quiet moments - just a great evening with the Kelly Family. And to complete the pre-Christmas family feeling, Joey's children will be appearing as special guests on some shows.

In addition to these activities, the Kellys, together with their brother Angelo, who will not be on the Christmas tour, and their sister Caroline, who has lived in the USA since the 1980s, are planning an emotional journey to important stages in their career, which they will continue with their double-decker bus to be repaired, their ship "Sean o'Kelley" to be relaunched, and their sailing boat. The documentary series will be broadcast on RTLZWEI in 2022, containing previously unreleased material and offering an intimate look into Kelly's life.
