Overview

Minutes of standing ovations, never-ending calls for encores, an euphoric audience – with his great hits, which are still immensely popular, but also with current songs, the charismatic exceptional artist effortlessly manages to give his audience an extraordinary, highly emotional and unforgettable evening - something that is very important to Roland Kaiser and is perhaps even more important than ever at this time: "My job is to entertain people at the highest level so that they go home with a good feeling."

A claim that gives the gentleman among artists the greatest pleasure. And so the grand seigneur of entertainment has planned a very special coup: On the occasion of his 70th birthday next year, Roland Kaiser will go on a big birthday tour from October 2022 and continue until 2023. Accompanied by his fantastic live band, he will be making stops in more than 30 cities throughout Germany, Austria and Switzerland as part of the tour to celebrate his milestone birthday with his fans. An invitation you can't refuse, because one thing is certain: Roland Kaiser has a cult following.

It's not just his songs with the bold, ambiguous lyrics that are so typical of him and an always up-to-date sound that the audience loves so fervently, but above all the authenticity, his unique charisma and his stylistic confidence, with which he understands it completely to inspire new generations of fans.

Hardly any other German artist can look back on such a successful, dazzling career that has lasted for so many decades as Roland Kaiser. He is a German music icon, an entertainer born for the stage and an absolute darling of the public - simply a living legend who, despite all the success, all the awards and honors, has kept one thing above all: the child in his heart. Or just that charming boyishness with which he still enchants the hearts of women in particular.

The 70th birthday is a good opportunity to take a look back - back to a stage career that has now lasted more than 47 years, to almost 100 million records sold and an incredible number of hits that today inspire more than three generations. If you ask Roland Kaiser about the secret of his ongoing success, he answers: "I'm very lucky that people have grown with me and my music, stayed with me - yes, and even new fans have grown. I think that's only possible with a high degree of credibility. I'm not trying to cling to yesterday. I show myself and my work as I am and people seem to like that. That's all there is to it."

Last but not least, it is this modesty that people love so much about Roland Kaiser. He is one of them - approachable, vulnerable and yet strong. One to look up to but also steal horses with. One to spend three hours in a concert hall with and have the time of your life!
