Reginaldo Oliveira (born November 30, 1982 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) is a Brazilian dancer and choreographer who lived from 2006 to 2017, with the change to the Staatstheater Karlsruhe, in Germany. Since the season 2017/2018 he works at the Landestheater Salzburg in Austria as a ballet director, branch manager and choreographer and lives there. The ballet dancer Bruna Andrade received for her performance in Oliveira's choreography, the German Theater Award "Der Faust" in the category Best Actress Dance.

In 2016 Oliveira received great media attention for the ballet interpretation of Anne Frank.

Reginaldo Oliveira grew up in Rio de Janeiro. He completed his dance training at the Maria Olenewa School, the ballet Dalal Achcar and Jorge Texeira. In 1998 he won the 1st Prize of the Russian Ballet Competition in São Paulo and went to the State Academy of Choreography of the Bolshoi Ballet Moscow as a scholarship. In 2000, he joined the Teatro Municipal de Rio de Janeiro Ballet Company and rose there in 2003 to the rank of soloist. With the season 2006/07 he moved to the Staatstheater Karlsruhe.

His first choreography »Attempt« was presented by Reginaldo Oliveira in the 2009/2010 season as part of »Choreographers introduce themselves«, followed by »Torn« (2012). In a large-scale project, which was to be seen in several exhibitions in the whole of Germany, he sat down with Flavio Salamanka and Barbara Blanche 2012 for the Gerlinde Beck Foundation choreographically and cinematic with sculptures of the deceased sculptor.

Reginaldo Oliveira also created a solo choreography for the chamber dancer Flavio Salamanka with "Across the border" for the 2012 Gala of the Dance Foundation Birgit Keil. Following the premiere, this piece was performed at the 3rd International Ballet Gala Salzburg, at the Ballet Gala for the German Dance Award 2013 and at the World Stars Ballet Gala Donetsk and most recently at the 6th Ballet Gala at the Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe. It followed for the gala »An evening for Birgit Keil« in October 2014 »Presente« as well as for ballet galas at the Badisches Staatstheater 2014 »Attack« and 2015 »Ice cold«. "Eiskalt" was released after the premiere. a. also successfully performed in Brasília at the Festival Internacional de Dança de Brasília.

Also at the Badisches Staatstheater was the first commissioned work »Der Fall M« as part of the ballet evening »Mythos« 2014. Bruna Andrade, the dancer of the Medea, received the German Theater Prize »Der Faust« in the category »Best Actress Dance« for her role interpretation in this work. Another success was the choreography for the Staatsballett in the context of the opening show for the city of Karlsruhe's 300th anniversary in 2015. It was followed by »Anne Frank« Reginaldo Oliveira's first full-length action ballet, which premiered in April 2016 at the Baden State Theater Karlsruhe and was a great public success , This creation was also noted in the critics polls of various dance magazines, a. a. was named Reginaldo Oliveira by Angela Reinhardt in the magazine »tanz« as »Choreographer of the Year«.

In the autumn of 2017, Reginaldo Oliveira, as the new Leading Choreographer of the Salzburg State Theater, gave his publicized and publicized debut with »Medea - Der Fall M.« as part of the »Dionysien« in the Felsenreitschule. It was followed in May 2018 to the opening of the venue in the new rehearsal center Aigen »Balacobaco«, a ballet festival for the Brazilian lifestyle. Ballet director Oliveira created »Othello« for the first time in November 2018, a full-length action ballet for the audience of the Salzburg State Theater.
