It turns Henry VIII's six wives into pop performers who take the microphone to tell their own stories. Tudor history meets pop and rock as the musical revisits their fates: divorced, beheaded, died, divorced, beheaded, survived.
The listed principal cast comprises Madison Swan (Catherine of Aragon), Izi Maxwell (Anne Boleyn), Laura Dawkes (Jane Seymour), Hannah Victoria (Anna of Cleves), Lizzie Emery (Katherine Howard) and Eloise Lord (Catherine Parr). Alternates are Lorren Santo-Quinn (Anna of Cleves/Katherine Howard), Erin Summerhayes (Anne Boleyn/Jane Seymour) and Rosie Singha (Catherine of Aragon/Catherine Parr); Darcy Stewart and Selen Berry are super swings. Casting is subject to change.
Listed performances take place at Poly Theatre (Beijing) from 3 to 17 December 2026. The running time is 80 minutes without an interval. Children under 1.2 metres are not admitted.
