The upland of Passo Lavazé, 8 km far from Varena, is one of the most fascinating landscapes of Val di Fiemme. The huge expanse of meadows, framed by spruces, larches and Swiss pines, is dominated by the mount Pala di Santa (2.488 mt.). From the pass you can have an amazing vista over Catinaccio and Latemar, dolomitic peaks that, at every sunset, offer a natural show: the Alpenglow. In summer, this is the ideal place for trekking, walks or mountain bike riding, tasting in mountain huts, fishing and Nordic walking. It also hosts concerts as part of the Sounds of the Dolomites festivalю

Sounds of the Dolomites 2019
The mountains take center stage in one of the most charming music festivals of Trentino. Sounds of the Dolomites, now at its 25 edition, takes place from June 28 to September 15. International musicians and artists will perform in the outdoors, near huts, refuges, forts and beautiful locations which can be reached on foot along well-marked paths, with shows starting at dawn and ending late at night.
The love for music and for the mountains, for art and nature, all in one festival!

Campiglio Special Week
Alma Lirica Brasileira
A double date with Brazilian music, beginning with a “solo” from the great São Paulo accordionist Toninho Ferragutti, followed by a performance from Monica Salmaso.
Salmaso draws you into the wonderful world of Brazilian singer-songwriters, and there could be no-one better to take you there than this singer, who has been credited with having “one of the most beautiful and elegant voices in Brazil”. Her extraordinary vocal mastery and sophisticated choice of repertoire combined with her charismatic personality and her excellent backing musicians make her every concert an unmissable event. Salmaso’s dazzling career began in 1989 with her debut in the show “O Concílio di Amor”, and continued with her first album Afro-sambas in 1995. This was followed by over ten albums, including “Trampolim” (1998), her first solo album and the recent “Caipira”, in addition to dozens of recordings in collaboration with other musicians and encounters with the great names of “Brazilian” music. These include Toninho Ferragutti, who is able to express Brazil’s many souls with his music by moving between popular styles and more sophisticated forms harmonising them in new sound horizons and earning himself nominations and honours in the most prestigious South American awards.

From the north
exit at Madonna di Campiglio SUD and take the Campiglio Pinzolo Express cable car from Colarin up to Plaza then continue on foot.
