Parc de la Maison Blanche - Marseille
Location   150 Boulevard Paul Claudel

Parc de la Maison Blanche is a park of 5  hectares located in the 9 th arrondissement of Marseille.

The park has a lake and lawns and wooded areas. Most notable trees - magnolias, redwoods, cedars, yews, plane trees, sweetgum, and Siberian elm - date from the XIX-th century.

The park houses a bastide in which is installed the town hall of the fifth sector of Marseille. The Ephemeral Arts Festival, dedicated to contemporary art, takes place every year in the salons and the Parc de la Maison Blanche. It is also one of the stages of the Festival International de Piano de la Roque d'Anthéron.

The bastide and the park were built in 1840 by a merchant named Cohen. The whole was bought by a Swiss family in 1920 who built the lake there. The estate was acquired by the City of Marseille in 1978.
