Winetasting
For the event, the Palazzo has curated a wine tasting experience that is deeply rooted in Italian history, culture, and art. This experience seamlessly integrates with the opera show, creating a harmonious blend of sensory delights.
This journey through Italian winemaking tradition begins with “Cutizzi, Greco di Tufo DOGC”, a white varietal brought to Italy by the Greeks, known for its unique minerality and freshness from the chalky soils of Tufo. The tasting continues with “Pietracalda, Fiano di Avellino DOCG”, an aromatic and persistent wine that encapsulates the richness of the Irpinia terroir. The experience peaks with “Aglianico dal Re, Irpinia Aglianico DOC”, a wine with impressive structure, pleasant sapidity, and exceptional longevity, made from Aglianico grapes grown in the most appropriate areas over volcanic mineral soils. Lastly, the tasting concludes with “DUBL BRUT EDITION II, from Greco grapes”, expressing the full potential of the best Campanian indigenous grapes in an exciting new horizon never explored before: a methode champenoise.
Every aspect of the wine tasting, from the location to the selection of wines, is carefully chosen to reflect Italy’s rich cultural tradition and artistic heritage. The result is an event that not only indulges the senses but also provides a meaningful connection to the heart of Italy.
