He began his musical studies at the Conservatorio Vincenzo Bellini in his hometown of Palermo, where he graduated with honors.
In 2004 he won a scholarship dedicated to Maestro Napoleon Annovazzi as best interpreter of Rossini repertoire.
In 2005 he attended the master class of Maestro Raul Gimenez in Wildbad (Germany), then performing at Rossini Festival of Wildbad.
In 2006 he won a scholarship Alfredo Kraus of the Academy of Art in Palazzo Barberini in Rome.
In 2006, as Ambassador of Italian bel canto, he performed in prestigious Japanese theaters Lucy Hall in Shiga Prefecture and Biwako Hall in Otsu-shi. In 2007 he performs Petite Messe Solennelle for the vent Great Music in the Church in the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli in Rome. In the same year he was a finalist in the competition Franco Alfano – Sanremo, for the opera Don Pasquale.
In May 2010 he won first prize at the International Competition “Giacomo Puccini” in Lucca and in June of the same year he won the second prize at the “International Competition Simone Alaimo” in Sicily.
In 2011 he debuted at the Teatro Comunale in Ferrara in the world premiere of the opera Torquato Tasso in the title role.
He won numerous competitions including: the 3rd Prize of the Jury of the International Competition City of Bologna, the Award for “Best Voice Baroque”, the award-scholarship offered by ”Association Farinelli “in Bologna, the 1st Prize Ex aequo at the VI International Singing Competition “Martini” in Mantua.
He attended the Rossini’s Academy of Pesaro, with by Maestro Alberto Zedda, and debuted in Il Viaggio a Reims in the role of Cavalier Belfiore at the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro.
He sang: 4th Jew in Salome in Bolzano, Piacenza and Modena; Nemorino in L’elisir d’amore at Politeama Greco in Lecce and Giannetto in La Gazza Ladra at the Fondazione Arena di Verona, Egoldo in Matilde di Shabran, Count Albert in L’occasione fa il ladro and La cambiale di matrimonio at the Teatro Malibran in Venice, Malcolm in Macbeth at Teatro Filarmonico in Verona, Don Eusebio in L’occasione fa il ladroat Rossini Opera Festival of Pesaro and Nemorino in L’elisir d’amore at Teatro Donizetti in Bergamo, the Count Almaviva in Il Barbiere di Siviglia in Russia with the Accademia della Scala, then in Venice and Florence, La scala di seta at Teatro Malibran, L’inganno felice at Teatro La Fenice in Venice, Roudi in Guillaume Tell in Bologna.
