Overview

Step into the bold, electric heart of Miami with this powerhouse program that celebrates our vibrant and diverse spirit.

This Winter program glows with Miami City Ballet’s signature blend of precision and passion — a dialogue between past and present that reveals the timeless beauty of dance. Each work opens a new emotional landscape, from reverence to joy, from serenity to sparkling bravura.

Serenade (1934) – Balanchine’s masterpiece shimmers like moonlight on water, where every gesture feels both spontaneous and inevitable. It’s a hymn to the beauty of form, turning classical symmetry into something purely human and eternal.

New Ratmansky Ballet – A fresh creation from Alexei Ratmansky that breathes life into tradition, full of wit, daring rhythm, and emotional intricacy. It captures the thrill of invention while honoring ballet’s deep musical roots.

Tarantella – Fast, fiery, and exuberant, this virtuosic duet bursts with southern Italian flair and contagious joy. It’s a dazzling finale — a joyful sprint that leaves both dancers and audience breathless.
