Festtage 2021
On the occasion of the FESTTAGEN and Beethoven’s anniversary year of 2021, all nine of his symphonies can be heard as a cyclical performance.
On the opera stage there will be a prelude to another major project: with »Così fan tutte«, staged by Vincent Huguet, a new Mozart/Da Ponte cycle begins, which continues in the coming years with »Le nozze di Figaro« and »Don Giovanni«, each at the FESTTAGEN at Easter.
About the Festtage
The unique collaboration between Daniel Barenboim and the Staatskapelle Berlin began in the early 1990s with Beethoven’s symphonies.

Since then, they have continued to pursue and deepen their interest in the First Viennese School. This cultural highlight is always performed around Easter.
