Dinara Fuad gizi Aliyeva - Azerbaijani and Russian opera singer (soprano), soloist of the Bolshoi Theater, People’s Artist of Azerbaijan (2018).
Dinara Aliyeva was born in Baku (Azerbaijan). She graduated from music school in piano. In 2004 she graduated from the Baku Academy of Music.
She started her career as a singer at the Baku Opera and Ballet Theater, where Dinara was a soloist from 2002 to 2005 and performed leading roles: Leonora (“The Troubadour” by Verdi), Mimi (“La Boheme” by Puccini), Violet (“La Traviata” by Verdi), Nedda (“The clowns” of Leoncavallo).
The singer also performs the main parts for soprano in the operas of Western European and Russian composers of the classic-romantic era, including the operas Verdi, Puccini, Tchaikovsky, The Wedding of Figaro and The Magic Flute by Mozart, Luisa by Charpentier and Faust by Gounod, "Pearl Seekers" and "Carmen" by Bizet, "The Tsar's Bride" by Rimsky-Korsakov and the "Pagliacci" by Leoncavallo.
The repertoire of the singer covers a variety of chamber works, including vocal miniatures and cycles of Russian and Western European composers: Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninov, Schumann, Schubert, Brahms, Wolf, Vila-Lobos, Foret, as well as arias from Gershvin operas and composition, works by contemporary Azerbaijani authors.
With great success she performed the main parts in the productions of the Mikhailovsky Theater in St. Petersburg (Violetta, Verdi's Traviata, 2008), the Baku Opera Theater (Violetta, Verdi's Traviata, 2008, Eleonora (The Troubadour)) Verdi, 2004, Mimi (“La Boheme”) Puccini, 2008), the Stuttgart Opera House (Michaela, Carmen by Bizet, 2007). In March 2010, the Bolshoi Theater hosted the premiere of Johann Strauss’s operetta The Bat, in which Dinara Aliyeva performed the main part of Rosalinda; in September-October 2010 - the part of Leonora from the opera “The Troubadour” staged by Andreas Zagars (Opera House Klagenfurt, Austria), as well as the leading parts on the stage of the Latvian National Opera: Mozart “Don Juan” - the part of Donna Elvira; Verdi "La Traviata"; the party of Violetta; Tchaikovsky - "Eugene Onegin"; Tatiana's party; Rimsky-Korsakov's opera "The Tsar's Bride", the part of Martha (Bolshoi Theater). In October 2011, she made her debut with Violetta on the stage of the Old Opera (Alter Oper) in Frankfurt (Germany).
The soloist of the Bolshoi Theater of Russia Dinara Aliyeva made her debut in 2009 with the Liu party in Puccini's Turandot, winning the love and recognition of the public and critics.
Currently Dinara Aliyeva is also a guest soloist and the Latvian National Opera.
Since 2007, Dinara Aliyeva has been a member of the Union of Concert Figures in St. Petersburg. The singer annually participates in the international art festival, which takes place in different cities of the country under the direction of conductor Yuri Bashmet.
Dinara Aliyeva’s tour was a success in various countries of Europe and the USA. Among the foreign performances of the singer were participation in the gala-concert of the “Kreschendo” festival in the Paris hall “Gaveau” (2007), in the concert of the festival “Musical Olympus” in New York's Carnegie Hall (2008). Dinara Aliyeva’s performance with conductor Dmitry Yurovsky at the Russian Seasons festival at the Monte-Carlo Opera House (2009) honored critics and the public.
On the day of memory of Maria Callas, on September 16, 2009, in the Megaron Concert Hall in Athens, the singer performed arias from the operas La Traviata, Tosca, and Pagliacci.
In December 2010, Dinara Aliyeva performed a solo concert on the stage of the Municipal House in Prague (Czech Republic), accompanied by the Czech National Symphony Orchestra conducted by Italian conductor Marcello Rota. In the same year, a joint performance of the singer with Placido Domingo was held in Baku.
