The Conservatory Darius Milhaud, the centerpiece of the cultural forum, was designed by Japanese architect Kengo Kuma and opened in 2013. The Campra auditorium, made mostly of wood, has a 240 m² stage. capacity of 500 seats and high-quality acoustics.

If you combine the stature and uninhibited agility of a breakdancer with a powerful and extraordinarily kind voice, you will have Jakub Józef Orliński. Making his return to the Festival d’Aix, where he was first introduced to international audiences, this star countertenor is getting back to the basics with a criss-cross of baroque operatic arias by Purcell and Handel, and Polish mélodies by Szymanowski, Baird and Łukaszewski.
