Pesaro

Pesaro is a city and comune in the Italian region of Marche, capital of the Province of Pesaro e Urbino, on the Adriatic Sea.  The composer Gioachino Rossini was born in Pesaro, and his home is one of the town's proudest tourist sights. In the composer's honour, each summer Pesaro hosts the Rossini Opera Festival.

The Pesaro film festival (Mostra Internazionale del Nuovo Cinema) has taken place in Pesaro since 1965.
Rossini Opera Festival has taken place every summer since 1980 in Pesaro, home as well as the Conservatorio Statale di Musica "Gioachino Rossini" founded with a legacy from the composer.

Viale dei Partigiani
The PalaScavolini (Auditorium Scavolini) in Viale dei Partigiani is planed to be a symbol of the city and an auditorium for up to two thousand people, functioning at the Rossini Opera Festival and at musical events of every type, as well as at congresses, congresses and sporting events.

Teatro Rossini is the name of an opera house in Pesaro, Italy that serves as a venue for the Rossini Opera Festival. Built as the Teatro Nuovo (on the site of the original 1637 Teatro del Sole), it was inaugurated on 10 June 1818 with a performance of Gioacchino Rossini's La gazza ladra conducted by the composer in the town of his birth. It seats 860, with an auditorium designed in the classic horseshoe shape with four tiers of boxes plus the gallery.

Inaugurated in 1965 inside the building that houses the Municipality, the Experimental Cinema Theater immediately attracted world attention as the site of the newly created International Exhibition of New Cinema in Pesaro.

Inaugurated in 1996 as BPAPalas, later on the name changed to Adriatic Arena and in 2018 to Vitrifrigo Arena. It is a multi-functional building that can house musical and sporting events on an international level. Situated near the Pesaro exit of the motorway, it has ample parking facilities and is connected to the town centre by shuttle bus.
