Overview

2GENTS (Ciprian Rogojan and Doru Todoruț) are preparing a gala show for Europe Day, on the stage of the “temple” of Romanian lyrical art, the Romanian National Opera in Bucharest. The repertoire includes many well-known classical arias, as well as pop-rock songs re-orchestrated in a classical way, from the repertoire of well-known artists or bands (Sting, Adele, Sistem, DeepCentral, Metallica, Safri
Duo, etc.).

The artistic moment will be completed with poems recited by the well-known actress Daniela Nane, and for the musical part, there will be special guests: soprano Andreea Bucur and chiratist Alexandru Nicolae, accompanied by the Orchestra of the National Opera and Ballet Theater "Oleg Danovski" from Constanța.

Over time, partners such as Telekom, Mega Image, Autoklass, Roton Music, NTT Data, the Romanian Embassy in Ukraine, the Ministry for SMEs, Trade, and Entrepreneurship, Hospice Casa Speranței, etc. have been involved in the production of 2GENTS shows.

It is a premium music project, founded by two well-known Romanian artists: CIPRIAN ROGOJAN [precautionary instruments] and DORU TODORUȚ [voice]. In addition to the founding members, this project will bring on stage other high-profile guests, soloists or instrumentalists. It is a versatile project, with a repertoire that includes representative songs from various musical genres and from different periods of time, re-orchestrated in an accessible way. Through this approach, the project aims to attract a large audience that is not familiar with cult music but can participate in new sound experiences other than those offered by commercial radio and television.

CIPRIAN ROGOJAN is a graduate of the “Gheorghe Dima” Academy of Music in Cluj-Napoca, a precautionary class. He was the founder of the 2 Vibes Symphony project and founder of the band Sistem, 3rd place at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2005, in Kyiv (the first notable result obtained by the Romanian artists participating in this prestigious international competition). Along with the band Sistem, he has 4 record labels and over 15 hits that have been on the Romanian charts. Together with his training colleagues, Ciprian Rogojan has been involved in numerous educational campaigns for the development, among young people in Romania, of the ecological spirit and nature protection.

DORU TODORUȚ is a singer, actor, composer, and lyricist. He left his teaching career to dedicate himself to the stage. He won the “Popstars” talent show, he played in the first Romanian soap opera, “Only love” and in the series “Rich man, poor man”. He achieved musical success with the band Deepcentral, which for 10 years had several number one singles in Romania. The songs of this band - to which DORU TODORUȚ had a decisive contribution - were well ranked in the international charts, which led to appearances in concerts and festivals in Germany, India, Turkey, Russia, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Belgium, UK, Greece and so on.

Actress DANIELA NANEgraduated from the Bucharest Academy of Theater and Film in 1995, in the class of teachers Mircea Albulescu, Adrian Titieni, Cătălin Naum. He completed a master's degree in the European League of Art Institutes in Amsterdam and Berlin in 1995 and another master's degree in Japanese culture, civilization, and theater at the Unesco Theater Chair in 2012. "Procust's Bed", followed by dozens of other shows to date. In the summer of the same year, he also made his film debut in “I am Adam”, directed by Dan Pița, following roles in feature films or television films, Romanian or international. In international films, he has starred opposite Gerard Depardieu, Harvey Keitel, Sir Ben Kingsley, Anthony Delon, Jeremy Irons, Sabrina Ferrilli, Dominique Sanda.

Soprano Andreea Diana BUCUR - BLIDARIU is a graduate of the National University of Music in Bucharest, Classical Singing Department. Into the
in 2018, he obtained a master's degree from the same university and continued his studies at the Vienna State Opera Academy. He perfected himself in master classes given by artists such as sopranos Mariana Nicolesco, Leontina Văduva, Eleonora Enăchescu, Marina Krilovici, mezzo-sopranos Bruna Baglioni, Aura Twarowska, tenors Teodor Ilincai, Vasile Moldoveanu. A voice with a unique imprint, Andreea is a constant presence on the stages of theaters and several philharmonics: the National Opera in Bucharest, the Romanian Opera in Craiova, where she debuted in the third year of college with the opera "The Elixir of Love", directed by Andras Kurthy Hungary ), The National Opera and Operetta Theater "Nae Leonard" from Galați, the Musical Theater Ambassadors, the Philharmonic from Sibiu, Arad, and Craiova, but also the Philharmonic from Argostola, Greece.

Orchestra of the National Opera and Ballet Theater "Oleg Danovski" from Constanțais one of the most appreciated musical ensembles in Romania. The seasons of the orchestra gathered, year after year, the creations of the great composers of national and universal opera and operetta: T. Brediceanu, P. Constantinescu, F. Barbu, G. Dendrino, C. Trailescu, D. Capoianu, M. Teicu, S. Drăgoi, V. Doboș, F. Comișel, G. Verdi, G. Puccini, WA Mozart, P. Mascagni, G. Bizet, J. Offenbach, J. Strauss, L. Delibes, G. Donizetti, GB Pergolesi, R. Leoncavallo, C. Gounod, E. Kalman, K. Zeller, Fr. Lehar, P. Abraham, DF. Loewe, F. Lopez. Over the years, from its inception until now, outside the seasons organized on the theater stage or in the summer seasons by the sea, the Constanta orchestra has made successful tours in many countries: Italy, South Korea, Japan, Ukraine, Russia, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, France.

The Romanian National Opera, Bucharest is one of the national opera and ballet companies of Romania. It is situated in a historical building in Bucharest, built in 1953, near the Cotroceni neighbourhood.

The first opera performed there was Tchaikovsky's Queen of Spades on 9 January 1954; the first ballet was Coppélia, the following night.

Its auditorium has 952 seats, but occasionally concerts are held in the Yellow Foyer with a maximum of 200 seats. The company presented 182 performances in 2009 (up from 146 in 2006). At the beginning of each season, a free show is held in open air to promote opera and the artists, "Promenada Operei".
