Overview

The National Ballet of China presents Le Corsaire, a story of rescue, love and rebellion on the Aegean coast.

Entry with a paper ticket only.

Conrad and his companions survive a storm with the help of Medora and the other women they encounter on shore. When the women are captured by a slave trader, the pirates set out to free them. Rivalry within Conrad's camp places Medora in danger again, leading to a rescue at the governor's palace and a final voyage towards freedom. This production is directed by Feng Ying, with choreography by Yu Bo and additional music and arrangements by He Siyang.
