Chief conductor Dariusz Mikulski leads the performance, with concertmaster Marcela Latas and mezzo-soprano Aleksandra Gudzio. The programme opens with the Chinese work Spring Festival Overture, followed by Mozart's Overture to La clemenza di Tito and Voi che sapete from Le nozze di Figaro, Saint-Saëns's Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso for violin and orchestra, and Lehár's Vilja Song from The Merry Widow. Offenbach's Overture to Orpheus in the Underworld closes the first half. After the interval come Johann Strauss II's Overture to Die Fledermaus, Tchaikovsky's Waltz from Swan Lake, Op. 20, Bizet's Suite from Carmen, Habanera and Gypsy Song, Johann Strauss II's Voices of Spring, Op. 410, and the Chinese song Jasmine Flower. The orchestra uses double wind scoring for this concert. The stated duration is approximately 120 minutes; the programme and actual running time are subject to the live performance.
