Anna Vinnitskaya was born on 4th of August in 1983 in Novorossijsk (Russia) into a family of musicians. She began her piano lessons at the age of 6 and played her first full solo recital at the age of 9. In 1995 her family moved to Rostov-on-Don, where she studied with Sergej Ossipenko at the SergejRachmaninov-Conservatoire. Since October 2001 she has been studying at the Academy for Music and Theatre Hamburg (Germany), formerly with Ralf Nattkemper and since October 2002 with Evgeni Koroliov.

Anna Vinnitskaya is the laureate of the “Leonard Bernstein Award” 2008 of the “Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival”. In 2007, she won the Queen Elisabeth International Music Competition in Bruxelles (Belgium). Amongst her other prizes and awards are the 44th “Premio Jaén de Piano” (Spain 2002), the 7th International Piano Competition “Mauro Paolo Monopoli” in Barletta (Italy 2004) as well as the 3rd “International Youth Competition” in Moskow (Russia 1996). In addition, she was twice honoured with the Audience Award (Jaén and Barletta) and given special awards, e.g. the Award for the best presentation of spanish music in Jaén. Besides that Anna Vinnitskaya is laureate of the “Busoni”-Competition (Bolzano/Italy 2005) and of the “Rina Salo Gallo” (Monza/Italy 2000).

Anna Vinnitskaya performed at the Verbier-Festival in Switzerland in July 2007. Within her career she performed solo in the USA, Japan, Hong Kong, Russia, France, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Luxemburg, Lebanon, Norway, Scotland, Switzerland and Germany.

Anna Vinnitskaya performed solo with several renowned orchestras including the NDR Symphony Orchestra, the RSO Stuttgart, the Philharmonic Orchestra Luxemburg, the Belgium National Orchestra, the Tchaikovsky Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Philharmonic Orchestra Liège, the Royal Chamber Orchestra Wallonia, the Accademia Mahler and the Symphony-Orchestras in Moskow, Dortmund, Milan and Madrid. In doing so she performed with several conductors e.g. Vladimir Fedoseyev, Emmanuel Krivine, Kyrill Petrenko, Gilbert Varga, Dimitri Jurowski, Mikhel Kütson, Jürgen Kussmal, Paul Goodwin, Dimitri Yablonski, Pietari Inkanen, Paul MacAlindin, Marius Bazu and Pascal Rophé.

Anna Vinnitskaya was born in Novorossiysk, Russia. Her parents are both pianists. She received her first piano lessons from her mother at the age of six and played her first public orchestral concert when she was eight years old. After studies at the Sergei Rachmaninoff Conservatory in Rostov-on-Don with Sergey Osipenko, Anna Vinnitskaya began studying with Evgeni Koroliov at the Hamburg University of Music and Theater in 2002. She was appointed professor of piano there herself in 2009.

Anna Vinnitskaya has won several international piano competitions and received numerous awards, most notably first prize at the Queen Elisabeth Competition in Brussels (2007) and the Leonard Bernstein Award of the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival (2008).

As a soloist Anna Vinnitskaya regularly performs with renowned orchestras such as the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, NHK Symphony Orchestra, Royal Phiharmonic Orchestra, Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, Munich Philharmonic Orchestra, Radio Symphony Orchestras of Hamburg, Stuttgart, and Berlin, Konzerthausorchester Berlin, Orchestre de la Suisse Romande and New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra. She collaborates with conductors Andrey Boreyko, Alan Buribayev, Charles Dutoit, Vladimir Fedoseyev, Marek Janowski, Dimitri Jurowski, Emmanuel Krivine, Louis Langrée, Yoel Levi, Andris Nelsons, Kyrill Petrenko, Krzysztof Urbański, Juraj Valcuha and Gilbert Varga.

In 2009, Anna’s debut album was published on the French label naïve, featuring works by Rachmaninov, Gubaidulina, Medtner, and Prokofiev. This recording was awarded the “Diapason d’Or” as well as the “Choc du Mois” by Classica Magazine. Furthermore, it was nominated for a Midem-Classical Award. In October 2010 Anna Vinnitskaya’s first orchestral CD followed. As soloist of the Deutsches Sinfonieorchester Berlin conducted by Gilbert Varga she recorded Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No. 2 and Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G major. This album earned her an ECHO Klassik award in October 2011.
In March 2012 Anna Vinnitskaya presented her third CD with several masterpieces of Maurice Ravel such as „Miroirs“, and „Gaspard de la nuit“. It was immediately awarded the “Diapason d’Or” award.

Anna Vinnitskaya´s new recording was released he label Alpha Classic in summer 2015. Her first recording for this label is devoted to one of her repertories of choice: the concertos of Shostakovich. For this recording, Anna Vinnitskaya was surrounded by partners of the front rank: the famous Kremerata Baltica, regarded as one of the most creative ensembles on todays musical scene, and the prestigious wind players of the Staatskapelle Dresden.
