Baritone Amartuvshin was born on March 23,1986 at Sukhbaatar, Mongolia. He graduated from State University of Arts and Culture in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia (class of Professor Mrs. Tserenpil Eruu). Since 2008 he is a leading soloist of the State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre of Mongolia. Amartuvshin is a Honored Artist of Mongolia.

Amartuvshin was a prize-winner of numerous Mongolian and international opera competitions, including The Mongolian National Competition for Young Opera Singers (2009, 2-nd Prize), 

International Opera Competition «Baikal» in Ulan-Ude, Russia (2010, 1-st prize) 

In 2011 Amartuvshin won the 2-nd prize and public award as the best male singer at XIV Tchaikovsky Competition in St. Petersburg, Russia . In 2012 he got the 1-st prize at Placido Domingo OPERALIA Competition in Beijing, China. In 2013 Amartuvshin won the 2-nd Prize, and 2 Special Prizes at the 50-th Francisco Vinas Competition in Barcelona.

He participated in opera concerts in Romania (2008), China (2008), Italy (2010), South Korea (2011), Ukraine (2011). In 2011 he took part in performances set by UNESCO in Paris (France) and New York (USA). In 2012 Amartuvshin was invited to perform Rigoletto in Ulan-Ude Opera (Russia), in 2012 he also sang 5 performances as Count Monterone and was covering Rigoletto in Valencia Opera House Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia. In December 2013 Amartuvshin will have a concert tour in Russian cities including St. Petersburg, Moscow and Kazan.
